Privacy notice

The short version

Window has no accounts, no login, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. It does not build a profile of you. Your cart, orders, saved total, and settings are stored only in your own browser, on your own device, and are never transmitted to us or anyone else.

Who is responsible

The controller of any personal data described here is Nuits, a sole proprietorship (toiminimi) operated by Bapusaheb Patil, domiciled in Helsinki, Finland. You can reach us at hi@windowshops.org.

What is stored on your device

To make the app work, Window saves the following in your browser's local storage and cache. None of it leaves your device:

• Your cart and the quantities in it.
• Orders you place, their confirmation numbers, totals, and delivery timing.
• Your running saved total.
• Your settings, including whether you turned on local reminders.
• Anything you type into the optional checkout fields. It is kept with the order on your device and is never sent anywhere.
• A cached copy of the app and the catalog images, so Window works offline. This is a technical cache, not tracking.

You can erase all of it at any time from Settings → Clear everything, or by clearing your browser's site data. There is no copy anywhere else to delete.

Cookies

Window sets no cookies and uses no cookie-based or device-fingerprinting tracking. The local storage and cache above are used only to run the app on your device.

Hosting and server logs

The app is served as static files through a content delivery network (Cloudflare). As a technical necessity of delivering any website, the hosting provider may briefly process your IP address and basic request metadata to serve the page and protect the service against abuse. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing a secure, functioning website. Window itself sets no identifier and runs no server-side code that records who you are.

No automated decisions, no profiling

Window does not profile you or make any automated decisions about you.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Because Window holds no personal data about you on any server, there is in practice nothing for us to retrieve or erase on our side — the data lives on your device and is yours to clear. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Finland this is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (Finland).

If this notice changes, the updated date above will change with it.
