What Window is

Window is a free web application that simulates an online store. The catalog, products, prices, ratings, reviews, stock, orders, confirmation numbers, receipts, and delivery tracking are fictional and for demonstration only. Nothing in Window is offered for sale and nothing can be purchased through it. Placing an order does not create a contract of sale, no payment is taken or requested, no money changes hands, and no goods or services will be shipped or delivered. The "amount saved" figure is a personal tally kept on your device, not a financial product or a statement of account.

No charge, no account

Window is provided free of charge. There is no subscription, no trial, and no account. We do not ask for or accept payment.

Your device and your data

Window stores everything locally in your browser. You are responsible for your device and your browser data. Clearing your browser data, or using a different device or browser, will start you from an empty state. See the privacy notice for details.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Window for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms;
• attempt to disrupt, attack, or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure;
• present Window's fictional catalog or order flow as a genuine shop to mislead others.

Intellectual property

Window, its name, design, text, code, and images are owned by Nuits or used with permission, and are protected by law. You may use Window for your own personal, non-commercial use. All brand and product names in the catalog are invented; any resemblance to a real product or company is coincidental.

Not advice, not treatment

Window is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and is not a treatment for any condition. See the not-treatment notice. If spending or debt is harming you, the help page lists places that can help.

No warranty

Window is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nuits is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Window. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer under Finnish and EU law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. General consumer guidance in Finland is available from the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority — Consumer Advisory Services.

Changes

We may update these terms. The updated date above will change when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
