The French Press has a 1-liter borosilicate glass carafe seated in a brushed stainless steel frame with a steel handle. The plunger uses a three-layer stainless steel mesh filter that screens out most grounds without paper.
The carafe is removable from the frame for cleaning and is dishwasher-safe; the glass is replaceable if broken. The filter assembly unscrews into its parts for thorough washing. Brews roughly four cups.

Mesh keeps grounds out
Very little sediment in the cup compared to my old press. The carafe lifts out of the frame which makes cleaning easy. Glad the glass is replaceable.

Plunger fits a little loose
The plunger does not seal perfectly against the glass, so a few fine grounds slip past. Not bad, but not zero. Coffee is good otherwise.
