The reach is real
At 10x optical the detail holds up beautifully, and even 30x hybrid is usable for distant signs and wildlife. Zoom-lock makes framing far subjects practical handheld.

100x is a marketing number
Beyond about 30x the image gets mushy, as you would expect. Up to that point it is excellent. The main and ultra-wide are good rather than class-leading.
