The Rope-Core Dog Leash is built around a 12 mm braided climbing rope spliced back on itself at both ends. One end forms a fixed loop handle wrapped in vegetable-tanned leather; the other carries a solid brass trigger snap.
The rope has some give under load, which softens sudden pulls. The leash measures 1.5 m from handle to clip and weighs about 180 g. The brass hardware develops a patina over time and will not rust.
Available in slate, rust, and forest. Wipe with a damp cloth; let the rope air-dry fully before storing.

The give actually helps

No fraying
