The Selvedge Denim Trousers are cut from 13.5 oz raw selvedge denim woven on shuttle looms. The leg is straight with a mid rise. Five pockets, copper rivets at stress points, and a button fly.
The denim is unwashed and rigid out of the box; it softens and fades to the wearer over months of use. The self-edge is visible when the hem is cuffed. Available in one indigo wash.
First wash separately in cold water; expect notable shrinkage and indigo bleed. We recommend sizing up one waist size from your usual fit.

Stiff then perfect
Rigid for the first few weeks, then they break in to the body. The selvedge is clean and the rivets are solid. Sized up as advised.

Indigo bleeds a lot at first
The first wash turned the water deep blue and stained a light bag I carried. Manageable once you know. Quality denim otherwise.

Honest sizing advice
I followed the size-up recommendation and they fit after the shrink. The button fly takes getting used to but I prefer it now.
