Floor stays dry
My dog is a messy drinker and the raised lip actually holds the splashes. I tip it into the sink and rinse it. It does not slide on tile.

Smelled of silicone
Out of the wrap it had a rubbery smell for a day. A wash sorted it. Catches everything and wipes clean. Slightly thin in the middle.
