A table lamp with a turned clear-glass body that lights from within and above.

The Spool Glass Table Lamp has a hollow turned clear-glass body, 40 cm tall, topped with a 25 cm white linen drum shade. A small bulb inside the glass base can be lit on its own for a low night glow, separately from the main bulb under the shade.
Two independent switches sit on the cord: one for the base bulb, one for the shade bulb. The base socket takes a 15 W bulb; the shade socket takes an E26 up to 60 W. The glass is solid-feeling and the base is weighted at the foot.

Two lights in one lamp
Running just the base bulb gives a soft night light without the full lamp on. The glass body throws a nice glow. The two switches are clearly different shapes so you do not confuse them.

Heavier than it looks
The weighted foot makes it stable but also heavy to move. The glass shows fingerprints. A worthwhile lamp; just keep a cloth nearby.
