The Suede Desert Boot is a chukka-height boot with a two-eyelet open lacing and a soft suede upper. It is stitched to a natural crepe rubber sole that cushions on hard ground.
The construction is unlined for a light, flexible feel. Crepe soles offer good grip on dry surfaces but can pick up grit and wear faster than rubber lug soles.
Available in sand, taupe, and dark olive. Brush with a suede brush and use a protector spray; avoid heavy rain.

Light and comfortable
The crepe sole is soft underfoot from day one and there was no break-in. The suede is a nice nap. Just keep them away from puddles.

Crepe collects grit
The pale crepe sole grabs every bit of gravel and darkens fast. Comfortable, but they look worn quickly. Protector spray helps the suede.
