The Weighted Ruler is a 30 cm stainless steel rule, 4 cm wide and 2 mm thick. Both faces are engraved with metric and imperial scales. The base has a 3 mm rubber strip running its full length, preventing slipping on paper and smooth surfaces.

The rubber strip is the only reason to buy a steel ruler over a plastic one. Does what it should.
