Wooden Balance Board
Item FT-8413
A birch-ply rocker board on a hard roller for balance training.
Shipping: calculated at delivery
The Wooden Balance Board pairs a 75 cm birch plywood deck with a separate hardwood roller, so the deck rolls side to side rather than tilting on a fixed pivot. The open system trains balance through a wider, less predictable range than a fixed-dome board.
The deck underside has a recessed track and end stops that keep the roller from shooting out. A cork strip on top provides grip for bare or socked feet.
Start near a wall until the rolling motion is familiar. The roller and deck store flat. Wipe both with a dry cloth; keep the wood away from damp.

Harder than a wobble cushion
The free roller makes this much more demanding than the dome board I had. The end stops stopped the roller from flying out while I learned. Lovely birch finish.

Loud on hard floors
The roller rumbles on tile, I put a mat under it. Steep learning curve but that is the point. Cork grip is good even in socks.
