The Boiled Wool Vest is made from a felted, boiled wool that is wind-resistant and holds its shape without lining. A five-button front and two welt pockets at the waist. The armholes are bound for a clean finish.
Boiled wool does not fray, so the edges are left raw and clean-cut. Available in charcoal and loden green. The vest works as a midlayer under a jacket or alone indoors.
Dry clean only. Do not machine wash, as boiled wool can shrink further.

Cuts the wind
The boiled wool is dense and blocks wind better than I expected for a vest. Holds its shape. Dry clean only is a small annoyance.

Trim fit
Runs slightly trim through the chest, so size up if you plan to layer a thick sweater under it. The welt pockets are shallow but usable.
