The Brass Bar Tie Bar is a plain rectangular clip cut from solid brass with a brushed face. It measures 55 mm long and 6 mm wide and holds a tie to the shirt placket with a sprung pinch mechanism.
Brass is left unplated here and develops a darker patina over time, which can be polished back. The clip tension is firm enough to hold a standard tie.
Polish with a brass cloth to restore shine, or leave to patina. Wipe with a dry cloth between uses.

Plain and well made
No logo, no fuss, just a clean brass bar. The pinch tension is firm. I like that it patinas, gives it character over time.

Needs polishing
It darkened within a couple of weeks. I expected that with raw brass but worth knowing if you want it to stay bright. Holds the tie well.
