The Canvas Gym Duffel is sewn from 18 oz waxed cotton canvas with leather end caps and a 40 L main compartment. A separate ventilated shoe compartment at one end keeps footwear apart from clean kit, with mesh panels for airflow.
The base is reinforced with a stiffener so the bag stands open, and there is an internal zip pocket and two slip pockets. A removable padded shoulder strap and rolled grab handles are included.
Spot-clean the canvas and re-wax once a year. Available in field tan and slate. The wax finish shrugs off light rain but the bag is not submersible.

Shoe vent is the winner
Trainers go in the end pocket and my clothes stay clean and dry. The waxed canvas already has a nice patina. Stands open on its own when I pack.

Heavier than nylon
The waxed canvas and leather add real weight before you put anything in. Worth it for the durability but know what you are getting. Smells of wax at first.
