Deshedding Undercoat Tool
Item PT-8323
A stainless deshedding edge that reaches under the topcoat to pull loose fur.
Shipping: calculated at delivery
The Deshedding Undercoat Tool has a fine stainless steel edge that reaches through the topcoat to lift the loose dead undercoat that causes most shedding, without cutting the healthy guard hairs.
An eject button pushes the collected fur off the edge in one motion so you do not have to pick it out by hand. Regular use across the season noticeably cuts the amount of hair shed around the home.
The handle is rubberized. Two edge widths are offered for cats and small dogs or for larger breeds.

A pile of fur in one session
First pass pulled out a startling amount of undercoat. The vacuuming has dropped right off. The eject button clears the tool in one click.

Easy to overdo it
Very effective, maybe too effective. Press hard or go over the same spot and you can irritate the skin. Light, brief sessions are the answer.
