The Desktop Near-Field Monitor is a powered speaker pair intended for use within a meter of the listener. Each cabinet houses a 8 cm paper-pulp cone and a 13 mm dome tweeter. The left cabinet contains the amplifier and all connections; the right cabinet connects to it with the included 2 m speaker cable.
Inputs are USB-C audio, a 3.5 mm aux jack, and Bluetooth 5.0. A front-panel 3.5 mm headphone output mutes the speakers when a plug is inserted. Total amplifier power is 30 W across the pair.

Good for a desk, USB-C is convenient
Plugged straight into my laptop over USB-C and it was recognized immediately. Sound is clean at desk distance. Bass is modest, which is expected from a cabinet this size.

Cable between speakers is short
The 2 m cable linking the two cabinets is fine for a normal desk but I have a wide setup and had to buy a longer one. The connector is a standard type so that was easy at least.
