The Pocket E-Ink Reader Phone uses a 6.1-inch electrophoretic display in place of an LCD or OLED panel. The screen is reflective, grayscale, and readable in direct sun, with an adjustable warm front light for night use. The octa-core 2.0 GHz chipset is paired with 6 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage.
A single 16 MP rear camera handles document scanning and occasional photos; the front camera is 8 MP. Because the screen draws almost no power when static, the 4300 mAh battery is rated for several days of reading. Charging is 18 W over USB-C.
It runs an open mobile OS, version 14, tuned for e-ink refresh, and ships in black and white.

Easy on the eyes, easy on the battery
Reading on this is like reading paper, even outside. I get three days between charges. It has pulled me off doom-scrolling because the screen is calm.

Not for video or fast scrolling
E-ink ghosts and lags when you swipe quickly, and video is a slideshow. For text and maps it is great. Know that this is a reading device first.
