A 5.8-inch distraction-free handset with a grayscale launcher and no app store.

The Halo Minimalist Focus is built to be used less. A grayscale-first launcher lists tools as plain text, there is no app store, and notifications are off by default. The 5.8-inch OLED panel runs at 60 Hz. The octa-core 2.2 GHz chipset is paired with 6 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage.
It keeps the essentials: calls, messages, maps, a calendar, a camera, music, and a browser. A single 32 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front camera cover photos. The 4000 mAh battery is sized for multi-day use thanks to the restrained software, and charges at 18 W.
It runs an open mobile OS, version 14, in a focus configuration, and ships in slate and bone.

Less phone, more day
The text launcher and silent notifications changed how often I reach for it. It does the essentials cleanly and the battery lasts days. Exactly the reset I wanted.

The limits are the point and the problem
No app store means some tools I rely on are not available. That is intentional, and for me it is occasionally inconvenient. If you want a calmer phone, it delivers.
