Lies flat as promised
No curling at the corners, even straight out of the packaging. The stitched edge looks tidy. It does show lint, so I vacuum it occasionally.

Picks up pet hair
The felt grabs cat hair and holds onto it. A lint roller handles it but it is a daily chore. Otherwise a nice quiet surface.
