The Reclaimed-Wood Chopstick Set is five pairs turned from reclaimed oak salvaged from old furniture. Each pair is finished with a food-safe wax and given a lightly textured grip at the tapered tip to hold slippery foods.
The chopsticks are 24 cm long, a standard length for the table. Grain and tone vary from pair to pair because the wood is reclaimed. They are hand-wash only; the wax finish should be refreshed once or twice a year.

Grip tip works
The textured tip actually holds noodles and tofu without them sliding off. Each pair looks a little different, which I like. Light and well balanced.

Need re-waxing
After a few months they looked dry until I rubbed in a bit of wax as instructed. Then they were fine again. Worth knowing before you buy.
