The Retractable Ballpoint Pen extends and retracts with a knock mechanism rated for repeated use. The 1.0 mm tip carries a low-viscosity oil-based ink that starts immediately and dries quickly on most papers.
The barrel is solid brass with a brushed finish that develops a patina with handling. A sprung steel clip holds it to a pocket or notebook cover.
It accepts the common parallel-style ballpoint refill, so replacements are widely available in fine and medium. The pen weighs 28 g and is 13.5 cm long.

Brass gets slippery
No grip texture on the smooth barrel, so it can rotate in my fingers. Otherwise a heavy, well-made everyday pen. Refills were easy.

Heavier than I wanted
Did not realize solid brass would be this dense. Fine on a desk, a bit much in a shirt pocket all day. Mechanism is flawless though.
