The Brass Mechanical Pencil advances 0.5 mm lead through a 4 mm fixed metal sleeve sized for use against a ruler or template. A knurled grip section gives a secure hold for line work.
The push-cap holds three spare leads and a small replaceable eraser underneath. The internal lead reservoir takes a standard tube of 0.5 mm leads.
The body is solid brass, unlacquered, so it darkens with use. It measures 14.6 cm and weighs 26 g.

Drafting sleeve is the point
The fixed 4 mm pipe rides a ruler edge cleanly with no wobble. Weight is balanced toward the grip. Lead does not retract while writing.

Sleeve can poke a pocket
The exposed drafting pipe is sharp and snagged a jacket lining once. Worth it for the line control. Brass is darkening nicely.
