A solid sterling silver signet with a flat oval face, left blank for engraving.

The Sterling Oval Signet Ring is cast in 925 sterling silver with a flat oval face measuring 12 x 10 mm. The face is left blank and can be hand- or machine-engraved by a local jeweler.
The shank tapers from 6 mm at the shoulders to 3 mm at the base. The piece is given a high polish on the face and a softer finish on the band.
Engraving is not included. Clean with a polishing cloth; avoid abrasive pastes on the polished face.

Good blank for engraving
Took it to a local jeweler for initials. The face is flat and large enough to work with. Heavy in the hand, feels substantial.

Heavier than I expected
Nine grams is more than it looks. I like the look but it slides around on my finger between sizes. Order carefully.

Clean casting
No pitting or bubbles in the silver, which I have seen on cheaper signets. The band finish marks easily but that is fine.
