The Brass Desk Clock is a small analog clock in a solid brass case, 9 cm in diameter. The face is white with black printed numerals under a slightly domed mineral glass.
The movement is a quartz step movement with a swept second hand chosen for quiet operation. It runs on one AA battery, included. The brass is left unlacquered and will develop a patina over time.

Genuinely silent
No ticking at all, which is why I bought it. The brass is heavy and feels solid. Mine has already started to dull slightly, which I like.

Patina is a matter of taste
The unlacquered brass will not stay bright. If you want shiny brass you will be polishing it. I prefer the patina, so it suits me.
