The Walnut Bookend Pair holds a row of books upright on a shelf or desk. Each bookend is solid walnut machined into an L, with a flat steel plate set into a recess in the base for weight and a thin profile.
The horizontal foot is 2 mm thick so it slides under the first book and is hidden once loaded. A felt strip on the underside protects the shelf. Each bookend weighs 720 g.

Heavy enough to hold a real shelf
The steel plate makes them heavy for their size. They hold up a row of heavy hardcovers without sliding. The thin foot disappears under the books.

Grain differs between the two
Being solid walnut, the two pieces do not match perfectly in grain. Minor and expected with real wood. They do the job well.
