The Cap-Toe Oxford Shoe is a formal closed-lacing shoe with the quarters stitched under the vamp for a clean line. A stitched toe cap reinforces the front. It is Goodyear-welted on a leather sole.
The upper is high-shine calf leather that takes a mirror polish at the toe. The almond last is sleek with a defined waist.
Available in black and dark oak. Use shoe trees, brush, cream, and build a polish over time; resoleable when worn.

Takes a mirror shine
Built a high shine on the toe cap with a few coats of polish. The welt is clean and the waist is nicely shaped. Proper dress shoe.

Snug closed lacing
The closed lacing is less forgiving across the instep than a derby. Once fitted they are excellent. Took a week to break in.
