The Weighted Speed Jump Rope uses a 2.5 mm steel cable coated in PVC, turning on sealed ball bearings inside aluminum handles. A 90 g weight screws into each handle and can be removed to switch from a heavy training rope to a light speed rope.
The cable adjusts by sliding it through the handle and locking it with a set screw, then trimming the excess. Maximum length suits users up to about 195 cm tall.
Spare cables are a standard 2.5 mm fitting. Wipe the handles dry and store the rope loosely coiled to avoid kinks.

Bearings spin clean
No catching at speed even doing double-unders. Took the weights out for conditioning and put them back for warm-ups. Good system.

Cutting the cable is fiddly
Getting the length right meant trimming twice and I went a touch short. Measure carefully, you cannot undo a cut. Spins well once set.
