The Carbon Steel Wok is spun from 1.8 mm carbon steel and has a flat bottom that sits stable on most cooktops. It ships unseasoned with a protective factory coating that must be scrubbed off and seasoned before first use; instructions are included.
The main handle is riveted wood; a small welded steel loop on the opposite side aids lifting and pouring. Compatible with gas, electric, and induction. Hand-wash, dry over low heat, and wipe with a thin layer of oil to maintain the seasoning.

Seasons well with patience
Removing the factory coating took some effort. After three rounds of stovetop seasoning it browns evenly. The flat bottom is steady on my electric coil range.

Wood handle loosened
One of the handle rivets worked slightly loose after a couple of months. I tightened it. The wok itself cooks well and heats fast.
