A leather cover that holds A5 notebook inserts on an elastic band system.

The Refillable Notebook Cover wraps a leather panel around standard A5 inserts, held by interior elastic bands so a finished notebook can be swapped for a fresh one while the cover stays. It carries up to three inserts at once.
The leather is full-grain, 2 mm thick, with a slot pocket inside the front cover and a pen loop on the spine edge. An elastic strap closes the cover around a full set.
It accepts the A5 dot-grid notebook and most A5 inserts. The cover is undyed and patinas with use; it measures 16 x 22 cm closed.

Swap inserts, keep the cover
Filled one insert and dropped in a fresh one in seconds while the cover carries on aging. Holds three so I keep a journal and a log together. Leather is thick.

Bulky with three inserts
Loaded with three it gets chunky and the closure strap is at full stretch. With one or two it is trim and lovely. Pen loop fits a slim pen only.
